Winter!

Brrrrr! I am not a cold weather person. I like winter for about 2 days then I'm looking for spring. I'm poking around in my garden looking for crocus. In 2 days it's Ground Hog Day. That means it's a little closer to spring. Although it can mean 6 more weeks of winter. I could stand it if it was 30-40 degrees. But this cold is way too cold for me. And my dogs. They go outside to potty and right back in. And my daughter's had some medical problems that has meant some trips to the ER in the middle of the night. Brrrrrrr! Nothing like coming out to a frozen car at 3am. Hopefully things are getting better and I'll be able to spend more time planning my new classes and planning my new endeavor of a training team. It always helps though when it's warm and sunny. At least maybe I can get sunny!

Back to Blogging

Alot of family issues have kept me busy these past few weeks. Now it seems to have calmed down alittle so I can be back to blogging, planning and teaching with more creativity. I have some plans for building a training team of trainers-coaches, team leaders and trainers. I also would like to open a few more locations. This will all take time. First step is scouting for some dog savvy, people and dog loving, positive training people full of enthusiasm, ideas and energy. I have a couple in mind and looking for more.

The reason for this expansion is that I can't be everywhere. And we need more positive trainers all over the tri-state. There are many dog events all year long that I don't have a presence at because I teach 7 days a week. I think it would be fun to have a group of trainers, have meetings and outings, attend training classes and tag team train with.

We'll see. I'm excited and I know it will take some time to build. I guess I'm looking down the road a couple years but it starts with one step.

No Puppy Classes Tonight

I'm cancelling the classes tonight due to the weather. I hate doing that but my drive to Anderson is long and the chance to be in an accident greater. AND I don't want my clients risking an accident with their puppies in the car. There's always Saturday puppy classes or next week. I'll miss my puppies. They are such a joy. See you all soon.....
